I think I never told you that all my projects are woven with whatever yarn I can grab. Being in Germany last winter I visited the barn where my Louët loom had been sleeping for so many years, just to have a look around if there was anything else I could need. I found some shuttles a spooling machine and a box with Cottolin yarn, not much, but enough for some nice little projects. Some bobbins with water colours, shades of blue, turquoise and green, that were asking to be woven to ocean waves. So here is what I made with it, and this morning on a beach walk I found the perfect model: a small turquoise painted fishing boat.
